So much new lingerie gets released each season, it’s easy to miss a lot of it. So today’s post is a little recap of some of the best (in my opinion) Fall/Winter 2019 pieces.
Here you'll find bra sets and lounge sets, plus pieces for full busts and plus sizes. And there's something for every day and those times you’re feeling fancier. These looks are from both major brands and independent names. If you’re planning to shop for new intimates in the coming months, start your research here.
For Daily Life
Whatever you think of Kim Kardashian, you can’t deny she knows good foundation-wear. So naturally, this September, she launched a lingerie brand. This set may be fairly simple, but those extra-wide shoulder straps sure look comfortable.Corrine Balconnet Available in sizes 30E-38K via Panache
This new style is from full-bust label Panache. The leaf embroidery makes this an attractive choice for every day. According to the brand, the fit is very similar to its bestselling Tango bra.
Eco-conscious? This bold but comfy-looking bralette set from Underprotection’s FW19 range is made from 100% recycled polyester.
The Expression is a new release from the full-bust brand Freya this season. I especially love the shape of these ‘high apex’ cups and the slightly longline band. It’s gorgeous, supportive, and will no doubt become your new favorite bra,
For Weekend Lounging
The metallic gold and navy combination here adds a luxury vibe to what is a rather affordable pajama set. Great for fancy lounging, comfy sleeping, and gifting too.
If real luxury is more your jam, I love this new print from Violet & Wren’s FW19 Savage Isle collection. A matching silk pillowcase is available so you can coordinate with your bedclothes.
Made from sumptuous silk, this swooshy lounge set is too good to wear only at home. It would also make a stunning party look for all of the upcoming holiday get-togethers.
British TV presenter Emma Willis recently designed her first-ever lingerie and lounge range in collaboration with Next. This robe is sprinkled with little stars. Celestial lingerie is everywhere right now, so it’s on-trend.
For Special Occasions
Plus-sized, full-busted people have been raving about Elomi’s Sachi bra. The Eugenie, new for FW19, is based on that one but with some added luxury touches. It has a new metal fastener on the decorative straps, plus a beautiful metallic lace overlay.
If you haven’t seen Aubade’s FW19 collaboration with Viktor & Rolf, allow me to introduce you. Because this is it, my dream lingerie! This set is my particular favorite, but there are five bra shapes to choose from with this same embroidery. Plus, an alternative color choice of black.
This year marks seven years since model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Marks & Spencer launched Rosie for Autograph. The affordable-luxury line is just as appealing this season as ever. I especially love the elegant, vintage-esque glamour of this lacy set.
Studio Pia’s FW19 Arcana collection is probably my favorite of the whole season. And Thara, my favorite look within it. The bespoke, gold chain embroidery is just so decadent and striking.
Last but not least is one of the Fall/Winter 2019 season's most eye-catching and memorable sets. Eleanor, by Playful Promises, is a dazzling blend of colorful embroidery and sequins. Perfect for adding a little festive sparkle to your lingerie drawer.
What’s your favorite lingerie or lounge look from Fall/Winter 2019? Have you seen anything else noteworthy that launched this season?
