It’s been awhile since I wrote a blog on great sports bras for big boobs.
If you wear anything over a D cup in any band size, you know how critical bust support is when exercising. It’s a struggle I’ve had my entire life. But thankfully, there are plenty of great sports bras on the market right now. And for this blog, I’m highlighting mostly high impact models, because that’s what works best for my DD boobs.
You’ll want specific features in a sports bra that may not be as important to you in an everyday bra. First is a good, tight (but not suffocating) fit. Second, you’ll want it to feature moisture-wicking materials. Last, if you’re like me, you need to be able to adjust the straps and get out of the damn thing quickly. There’s nothing worse than wrestling with a sticky, sweaty bra after a workout. For more about what to look for in a great full bust sports bra, read more here.
Here are my current favorite sports bras for big boobs. I’ve also included the price because–just like running shoes—it’s worth it to pay a bit more for quality design. The good news is that you can often find last season’s colorways on sale. And I’ve had experience with most of these brands, wearing their bras for different levels of physical activity. They’ve held up heavier and bigger breasts. Do let me know if there are any other brands you’ve tried and would add to this list.
Panache Sports Moulded Bra — $70
One of my all-time favorite sports bras, the Panache makes it easy to switch it up from a regular to racerback bra style. The padding in this underwire bra doesn’t make you feel bulky, either.
Anita Maximum Support Air Control Sports Bra — $70
This pretty Anita sports bra is sturdy, comfortable and features an airy design to keep you dry. The style is great if you prefer a non-wired, lighter alternative for your workouts.
Chantelle High Impact Sports Bra — $70
Like the Panache, this Chantelle underwire sports style changes up from a racerback or a regular bra. The one difference is that the racerback hook is fully adjustable. It provides full coverage without sacrificing breathability, thanks to soft microfiber material.
Berlei Shift Extreme Impact Underwire Sports Bra — $54
Love the retro-inspired design and colors of this Berlei sports bra, and the fact that they’ve got tennis great Serena Williams as their spokesperson. Any bra that works for her will work for me!
Wacoal Underwire Sports Bra — $65
This sturdy but straightforward sports bra from Wacoal has an outer wire design, and side support panels for those who fit G and H cup sizes.
Shock Absorber Active Multi Sports Support Bra — £37
Another lightweight non-wired sports bra that gives excellent lift with no padding, from Shock Absorber. Especially appreciate the racerback that’s easy to unhook after a sweaty run!
Royce Impact Free G+ Sports Bra — $48
Royce has managed to design a supportive sports bra with zero wires–fitting up to a K cup! The all-cotton fabric makes it perfect for medium impact activities.
Sculptress by Panache Non-Padded Sports Bra — $82Sculptress by Panache Non-Padded Sports Bra Fits Bands 30-46, Cups D-J via Figleaves
Similar in design to the Panache above, the Sculptress by Panache offers the same comfy wired support in a non-padded style.
Enell Racerback Bra — $68
Enell has been making sports bras for busty women for a long time. And they have perfected a design that, while it may look cumbersome because of its multiple front-hooks, is guaranteed to keep boobs in place. This sports bra was the only one my soccer playing daughter would wear when on the field.
Do you have problems finding sports bras to fit your fuller bust? What do you think of these sports bras for big boobs?
