What’s it take to fill the fashion bra needs of the fuller bust? UK brand Tutti Rouge, a new line of lingerie aimed at the 28-38 band, DD-HH cup crowd, is finding out.
Tutti Rouge is the new girl on the small band, big bust market block, having launched their first collection this past Spring. But reviews and photos of their fun and flirty designs are all over the web. They’re using a smart social media marketing campaign, sending out bras to a variety of well-known full bust lingerie bloggers, and encouraging feedback to tweak and improve their products.Tutti Rouge Betty Bra via Bravissimo
They sent me the adorable cream-colored Betty balconette bra set.** It’s got all the little feminine details any woman could ask for in a bra, on top of the supportive structure my DD cup requires. Tutti Rouge designer and co-owner, Jessica Prebble, explains:
Tutti Rouge came about after seeing a gap in the fuller bust market for fun and sassy lingerie that has a ’boutique’ feel, but not a ’boutique’ price point. We want girls to feel fabulous in their lingerie, to look in the mirror and love what is looking back at them.
The bra features lovely heart shaped sliders on the straps, satin bows, and lace that frames the cups and along the bottom band. But there’s also a smooth, lightly padded cup, underwire and wide set straps to keep you properly lifted. I’m near the lower end of the deep cups they carry, and the 34DD fit me well.
I also prefer balconette bra styles, but that’s not the only cut Tutti Rouge offers. As Jessica puts it, they have a grand plan to satisfy every woman’s bra wardrobe needs:
We have a half padded everyday bra (Liliana), padded plunge, non padded bra, half padded balconette, full padded balconette. I like to think of Liliana being our ‘day time’ bra, Olivia being our ‘mid-week’ going out bra and Betty as our Saturday night set. We have shoes that cover all occasions, we need bras that do the same!
