As promised, I’m back with part 2 of my series on honeymoon lingerie. This time I’m focusing on garments and sets that range from only slightly over $60 (for low-cost looks that will set you back even less, check out part 1 here), through to just under $120.
It’s these mid-tier pieces where you’ll often find that you get the best compromise between affordability and quality. The polyester satin and ‘basic’ lace on budget lingerie begin to be swapped out for luxurious silks and finer laces and embroideries. Construction techniques won’t be couture, but the lingerie will be built to last. If you want to treat yourself to something you’ll treasure and wear long after the honeymoon is over, spending this extra bit is worth the investment.
This price range is also where you’ll find attractive honeymoon lingerie options for full busts. You'll notice that DD+ cups were mostly missing from the previous list as these sizes are simply more expensive to produce. Below you’ll find a chic, full-busted bra set and a basque set that are both much closer to $60 than they are to $120.
As before, this honeymoon lingerie round-up focuses more on the pretty than the practical. I’ve selected pieces for their beautiful materials, luscious draping and attractive design touches all intended to make a bride feel extra special. That said, some of the bridal lingerie below could work wonderfully underneath a wedding dress. Even if you’re going bra-less on the big day, I’m particularly fond of Mistress Collection’s personalized silk knickers. They’re the perfect way to celebrate and commemorate your new name if you’ll be changing it!
Here are 15 beautiful honeymoon lingerie ideas, ranging in size from XS to 3X and including both big-brand and handmade options:
Which of these beautiful honeymoon lingerie looks is your favorite? Are you more inclined to treat yourself to a fancy bra set that you can wear all day long, or some wonderfully swishy nightwear to save for the boudoir?
