Perle Noire: Helping Women Heal Through Feminine Energy

One of the things I enjoy most about my work is the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. And it doesn't matter whether they're in the lingerie, comedy, or entertainment industry. Because I can connect with anyone through Instagram or other social media platforms.

But I've always been in awe of those who make it their life work to empower women. One of those is Perle Noire, a successful entrepreneur and burlesque dancer who shares her love for performance with others. And I recently discovered that she offers non-dancers a way to reclaim their lives through her Healing Through Seduction workshop.

About Perle Noire

Perle Noire became a burlesque sensation back in 2008, by winning the Best Debut category at the annual Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas. She spent several years as a cast member of "Strip, Strip Hooray," a Dita Von Teese production. Then she went on to appear in a musical starring Australian disco diva and superstar Marcia Hines. Since that time she's launched several business ventures, including a series of performance classes known as Perlesque.

The art of burlesque performance has always fascinated me. It's all about the performers, their dedication, and creativity. But I'm no dancer. There's no reason I can't express myself through dance, though, especially with the right teacher. I learned this some ten years ago when I spent the afternoon with Miss Indigo Blue and her students. Joining with a group of other women in burlesque-inspired dance was a powerful way for me to reclaim my body and my breasts.

About Healing Through Seduction

That's why I was excited to learn about Healing Through Seduction, a powerful 4-week online or in-person course. It gives the non-performer a way to reap the rewards of dance combined with self-reflection and positive thinking exercises. While I haven't taken Noire's class, many of its elements--journaling, movement, self-affirmations--are part of my daily routine. They've been critical to my personal growth; from dealing with the end of my 25-year-marriage to launching a writing career, moving to Los Angeles, and expressing myself through stand-up comedy and storytelling.

I recently spoke to Perle Noire by phone, and she shared with me how she came to develop the course:

"Healer" wasn't the first word that I would have used to describe myself a few years ago. But after years of being told how I've helped thousands of people, I decided that it was time to embrace the title. And in the Healing through Seduction course, I provide a safe space for students to truly embrace themselves, flaws and all.

This life-changing experience will enable you to connect with your power, resilience, and feminine energy. You can't expect a healthy and loving connection with business or intimate partners without loving yourself. I call my techniques: mirror on the wall, connect to your audience, stomp your ghosts with each strut, seduce your reflection, and I'm a beautiful imperfection. Healing through Seduction is for anyone willing to reclaim their power by falling in love with their reflection.

Perle Noire's curriculum isn't just about movement. Rather, it includes live coaching, personalized affirmations, positive mirror work, connection exercises, journaling, healing rituals, and burlesque-inspired classes to celebrate your feminine energy. As a result, you'll come away from the course with tools you can use in your everyday life. Finally, you don't have to live in New York to take part; you can experience it through the miracle of video chat.

The next Healing Through Seduction course starts on September 9th. Each session runs two hours and includes 7 group classes and 1 private with Perle Noire. There will be an opportunity to watch replay videos after each session. Another perk is being part of a private Facebook group page where you'll find additional support. Curious?
