Please join me in welcoming Laurie Shapiro as a regular contributor to The Breast Life.
I first met Laurie in New York, when I was invited to preview her luxury line of lingerie, Toad Lillie. I loved the intricate details of her designs, her choices of fabrics and trims, and the impeccable construction of her garments. I was taken both by her creativity and her fun and witty personality. When I heard that Laurie had closed down her highly acclaimed fashion business and might be available for freelance work, I couldn’t wait to tap into her expertise for The Breast Life.
Over the past year and a half, Laurie has been instrumental in curating the offerings in The Breast Life Store. She researches the latest lingerie trends and chooses the best and highest rated items for our readers. If you’ve shopped for bras, swimwear, or other products in The Breast Life Store, you’ve already been introduced to Laurie and can appreciate her eye for well-made, fashionable apparel.
I’m delighted to announce that Laurie has agreed to be a regular contributor to The Breast Life Blog. She’ll be sharing what’s new in the lingerie world, from risk-taking independent designers to beloved mass-market brands. You’ll also get her unique, behind-the-seams perspective on what it’s like to run your own lingerie business. Watch for informative pieces on best corset designs, enticing honeymoon lingerie, and stylish swim and resort wear.
If you’d like to see Laurie cover specific trends, products, or intimate apparel brands, please let us know. We’d love your thoughts, suggestions, or other recommendations in the comments below.
In the meantime, please join me in welcoming Laurie Shapiro to The Breast Life blog. I’m excited to share her expertise and passion for lingerie, along with her unique point of view.
Look for her posts, coming soon!
