As a full bust lingerie customer, it’s easy to feel like your lingerie options boil down to full coverage bras in weird colors. However, there is a lot more out there – and the holiday season is the perfect time to treat yourself and explore options.
Lots of companies are now releasing beautiful full bust lingerie sets, basques, babydolls and more each holiday season. Today I’ve curated the best of the best for you, so you know what to put on your full bust holiday lingerie wish list.
Core Built Up Chemise in Red by Tia Lyn:
Tia Lyn is one of those brands that is not praised enough for the fantastic stuff that they make. Their sizes range from small to 3X, their pieces are luxurious yet affordable, and all of their pieces are lined and designed for full busted customers. I’ve bought at least two colors of this chemise myself. The satin is thick and has a comfortable amount of stretch; the lined bodice provides comfortable support, and the back lets you adjust the chemise like you would a bra band. The best part is it’s washable, so you can just throw it in the machine over and over and it comes out like new. If you want a practical yet sexy nightgown to sleep in, this is your best bet.
Vintage Chemise by Tia Lyn:
Another Tia Lyn piece, this time in basic black and white. I love the vintage feel of this piece combined with the sexy sheer fabric. The gorgeous eyelash lace trim reminds me of icicles, which makes it perfect for the season.
Sophia Half Cup Bra by Bravissimo:
Bravissimo is one of the original full bust bra brands and still one of the best. Their products are consistently beautiful, innovative and high quality. If you haven’t tried their half cup bras, you owe it to yourself to do so. These bras are sexy in a classic French lingerie way, especially when paired with the matching panty and suspenders. This purple color is the perfect winter lingerie shade.
Fifi Bra by Tutti Rouge:
This bra has been the surprise hit of the season for many of my clients, which means I would snap one up sooner rather than later if it grabs you. Tutti Rouge is one of my favorite full bust lingerie brands: their use of color, laces, and bold design choices have set them apart from the rest of the industry. This sexy red lace bra is the perfect example of why they have become so popular. It’s perfect for Christmas, Valentine’s Day or any day you feel like flirting.
Short Sheer Dressing Robe by Dottie’s Delights:
This robe is more than beautiful – it’s ethical as well. Made in Nashville by vintage-minded brand Dottie’s Delights, this robe comes in many colors of the rainbow. Pick your favorite color or a basic that matches with your sexiest lingerie set. Dottie’s Delights offers this robe in two sizes, one of which is designed specifically for full busted women.
Lola Luxe Basque by Bravissimo:
It’s hard to find traditional “sexy” items like basques in higher cup sizes at US retailers, so thank goodness Bravissimo is filling in the gap. I bought the purple colorway of this several years ago, and it remains one of my favorite lingerie purchases. This basque is high quality, fits like a dream and goes up to a K cup.
Anushka Babydoll by Elomi:
Elomi is one of the few brands making full bust babydolls over a G cup these days, so I was thrilled to see them introduce this red and black babydoll just in time for the holidays. I love the detailed floral lace on the bra cups! If you’re a 34 band or above, this is a great holiday piece for you.
Beatrice Bra in Rouge by Tutti Rouge:
This bra doubles as both sexy and useful. The gore is insanely low, which means it can fit under virtually any neckline you can legally wear in a public place. It also gives surprisingly great support and shape, which makes it great for the bedroom and holiday parties alike. The satin is thick and soft, so it’s a set that both looks and feels like a treat. If you’re in the holiday spirit, pick up this red version. If not, try the basic creme continuity version that Tutti Rouge offers. Either way, you may never go back to another plunge bra again.
Poppy Balconette Bra Set by Bravissimo:
Red lingerie is great, but it can all seem the same after a while. I love Bravissimo’s creative take on holiday lingerie with their beautiful embroidered Poppy Set. It’s gorgeous, seasonal and still wearable long after you’ve taken down the tree.
Teal and Black Silk Augusta Bra Set by Harlow & Fox:
There are hardly any luxury lingerie designers specializing in full bust pieces, so we’re all lucky that Harlow & Fox has stepped in to fill the gap. The Augusta Collection is full of good things: an amazing teal color, yards and yards of fringe and silk bras that go up to a UK G cup. If you want to splurge this holiday, Harlow & Fox is where to go.
Uma Rouge Bra by Louise Ferdinand Lingerie:
If you like vintage lingerie but fear to look like your grandmother, check out Louise Ferdinand Lingerie. Each bra is handmade and incorporates both vintage styling and modern British fashion trends. Lingerie is made from luxe fabrics like taffeta and tulle, which makes these bras both stylish and light as a feather. They don’t provide industrial level support, but they’re perfect for the boudoir or an elegant dinner out.
Kate Maxi Robe in Teal by Dear Bowie:
While not specifically a full bust company, Dear Bowie designs their robes with curves in mind. This modal robe feels like a dream to wear and flatters full busted figures. It’s available in several colors, but I like this teal version. It’s equally appropriate for lounging, family brunches, and the bedroom.
Garbo Basque in Black/Blue by Bravissimo:
Another beautiful basque by Bravissimo with a fabulous size range, this time in a slightly less holiday-centric colorway. The subtle embroidered details on this are incredible. This basque also goes up to a 38K, which means it will fit a broad range of full busted ladies.
Which of these pieces of holiday lingerie is your favorite? Have you tried any of these brands before?
